- Cuts, bruises, abrasions, and contusions
- Concussions and other head or brain injuries
- Cardiovascular events including heart attack, stroke, or cardiac arrest
- Injuries resulting from contact with other participants, equipment, or facility surfaces
- Aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions
- In rare cases, serious injury, permanent disability, or death
You acknowledge that:
1. You are voluntarily participating in physical activities at your own risk.
2. You are physically able to participate in the activities and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation, or you have obtained clearance from a licensed physician.
3. You understand that boxing is a combat sport that carries a higher risk of injury than many other physical activities, including the risk of being struck by another participant during sparring or training drills.
4. You are responsible for informing trainers of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before participating in any activity.
5. You will follow all safety rules, instructions from trainers, and use proper protective equipment as required.
For youth participants: Parents and legal guardians are responsible for evaluating whether their child is physically and emotionally prepared for boxing or fitness activities. By allowing your child to participate, you assume all risks on their behalf and acknowledge that you have read and understood this section in its entirety.
Box Steady Boxing for Parkinson's: Participants in our Parkinson's boxing program should consult with their physician before beginning the program. While Box Steady Boxing is designed as a non-contact fitness program, physical exercise carries inherent risks, and participants with neurological conditions should take additional precautions as advised by their medical team.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Manfredo Boxing Sports Fitness, its owners, trainers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use this website
- Any injuries sustained during participation in our programs, training sessions, or use of our facilities
